Attune ("we", "our", "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we process, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
Data Controller
The data controller for Attune is J90 (sole proprietor), based in Sweden. For questions about data processing, contact us at support@attunebinaural.com.
Information We Process
Attune is designed with privacy in mind and does not require you to create an account.
Local data. Your preferences, favorites, saved custom sessions, and session history are stored locally on your device. This data is not transmitted to our servers. If you delete the app, this data may be removed from your device, though it may persist in device backups depending on your iOS backup settings.
Subscription and purchase data. If you subscribe to Attune Pro, your payment is processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage your subscription status. RevenueCat may process the following data: purchase and subscription entitlement data, an anonymous app user identifier, and receipt validation data. We do not have access to your payment details such as credit card numbers. For more information, see RevenueCat's privacy policy.
No audio or microphone access. Attune generates audio locally on your device. We do not access, record, or transmit any audio or microphone data.
No third-party analytics. We do not currently use third-party analytics services. We do not track your behavior, collect device identifiers for analytics, or use advertising SDKs.
Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
For users in the EU/EEA, we process data on the following legal bases:
- Contract performance: Processing subscription data is necessary to provide the Attune Pro service you purchased.
- Legitimate interest: Processing minimal data to operate and maintain the app.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not display advertisements in Attune. Data is only shared with:
- Apple — for payment processing and app distribution via the App Store.
- RevenueCat — for subscription management, as described above.
International Data Transfers
Apple and RevenueCat are US-based companies and may process data outside of Sweden and the EU/EEA. These transfers are covered by the service providers' data processing agreements and appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Data Retention
- Local data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.
- Subscription data is retained by Apple and RevenueCat as needed for subscription management, billing, and legal obligations.
Your Rights
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability and to object to or restrict processing. Since Attune processes minimal data and does not require an account, most personal data is under your direct control on your device.
For subscription-related data, you can manage your subscription directly through your Apple ID settings. For any other data requests, contact us at support@attunebinaural.com.
Children's Privacy
Attune is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you are under the age of consent in your jurisdiction, please use the app only with the approval and supervision of a parent or guardian.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
